July Design Tutorial Round-Up

Welcome to August! Before jumping in to what's new for this month, we want to take this opportunity to look back at some of the design highlights from July. We had a lot of great feedback the last few weeks, so in case you missed something, here's a quick round-up of what we featured on the blog.

1 / 10 Graphics You Need for Your Next Promotion

In this first post, LeAnna shared 10 graphics that will help any promotion or campaign receive the increased visibility and love it deserves. While there are many different ways to promote your offerings, she highlighted a few that can serve as a jumping off point to get things moving in the right direction. This is a must-read post, so bookmark it if you haven't already!

2 / The Anatomy of an Irresistible Checklist or Worksheet

In week two, we took things a step further by sharing design tips and tricks for creating your own collateral (using styled stock images from Haute Chocolate) by highlighting one of our favorite opt-ins — a downloadable 'Checklist/Worksheet'. We find that using this particular piece of collateral often helps increase audience engagement and drive traffic back to your blog/website, both of which are important when promoting your own business and drawing in prospective clients. This is a How-To you do not want to miss!

3 / How to Create a PDF Checklist in Canva, A Step-By-Step Video Tutorial

We wrapped up the series with a step-by-step video tutorial, taking you through the process of building an actual checklist in Canva. This tutorial was so good, even Canva liked the video. This tutorial is a great guide to not only get you familiar with using Canva, but also provides clear instructions on how to design your own downloadable opt-in, as well as additional tips and tricks to use when working on your own project. Be sure to share your work with us, we want to see what you create using these tutorials!

That was all of last month's content, so here are a few of the new posts coming up:
